Great contact care! I went to a contact training session here and my instructor was extremely kind and patient throughout the process. She gave me a lot of useful information and did not rush me in the slightest. I would highly recommend for anyone seeking contact training, especially for those with young kids a little nervous to try contacts for the first time!

I developed a condition in one of my eyes which caused me some concern. I called the office and they took me on the same day. The exam was thorough and professional, and gave me confidence in their diagnosis.

I called Horizon up after I broke my glasses while on vacation. They told me that I didn't need an appointment and that I could just come in. I brought the glasses in and they fixed them in 10 minutes.

Dr. McLaughlin and his staff did a fantastic job removing my cataracts on both visits. They are a kind and caring staff!

I am not an established patient at Horizon. I am a part-time resident of Ocean City. I had an emergency with my eye/vision. I called Horizon on Bay Ave in Ocean City, NJ. They could not have been nicer. Got me an appointment to see the Dr right away. And when the Dr came in to see me, she was awesome. Took excellent care of me, explained everything she was doing and why. I cannot fully express my gratitude for everyone at Horizon!! Five Stars!! They are awesome!

Really well run office. Dr. Sara was great, explained everything to me about my new prescription. The optical shop has a really great selection and I was so pleasantly surprised by the great customer service - not pushy at all just very helpful.

I had great service since i walked inthe wait wasn't long, they call you when it's your time.. so convenient. From the teach to the dr everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. The teach was so helpful finding me a new pair of glasses.

So Thankful to find this place. We do not live around here but while out of town my daughter needed emergency treatment. Very thankful to the caring Drs and staff who took care of her and made sure to diagnose and treat her properly.

This year while vacationing in Ocean City, NJ I injured my right eye; I immediately went to the emergency room at a local hospital. They told me that I had to see an eye surgeon and gave me several references. The closest office to where I was staying was the office of Horizon Eye Care in Ocean City. I will always be thankful for my choice. Even though this happened during a weekend and the pandemic, the office staff at Horizon Eye Care was excellent in getting me in safely and quickly contacting one of the eye surgeons. The doctor examined and treated me with care and compassion, carefully explaining everything he was doing. I will now schedule my yearly eye exams at Horizon Eye Care, another reason to vacation in South Jersey.

My little girl had to see an ophthalmologist for something she had on her eye. I made an appointment for her and it was mistakenly put as a regular check up and the doctor that she was scheduled to see did not take her insurance. Someone from the office called me to tell me and put me on a brief hold to talk to the doctor and he agreed to see her anyway. Thank you Dr Shissias for seeing my little girl. It was her first time there so being a new patient and them doing that means a lot. And my husband said everyone in there were great as so was the lady I spoke to on the phone. Again Thank you all!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr Dean and Horizon Eye care. Dr Dean explained everything and put me at ease. I had no issue with the girls at the front desk, the girl who helped me pick out my glasses and everyone in the office. They are all so nice.

This is the most wonderful Eye care office I have ever experienced. Before coming here today I looked at the previous reviews written and I can honestly tell you not to read them. Every person I encountered was sweet, helpful and kind. I did not have to wait at all and Dr Dean is absolutely the best!

This office was easy to find, clean, and very nice inside. The staff was helpful both over the phone and in person. There was no wait for my (Friday morning) appointment, they moved quickly, but I didn't feel rushed. I also picked out new glasses, which was a good experience. I would come here again.

Dr. Sedlock treated me for a corneal abrasion. I was very nervous, it being an eye injury, but Dr. Sedlock eased my worries and treated me with the utmost care and compassion. My eye was completely better a couple days later.
